Career

Vivek Siva trained as a classical musician and performed with numerous bands during his school and college days. Mervin Solomon had worked as a music producer, and scored music for albums in gospel and classical genres. Vivek, Mervin and Anirudh Ravichander are from the band Zinx. Vivek and Mervin later worked as music producers and mix engineers for Anirudh Ravichander on his projects.

The songs and the background score of their debut movie Vadacurry (2015), was well received by the audience and reviewers. The song Nenjukulla Nee became an instant hit and topped the charts.

In their second project, Pugazh (2016), the duo roped in Hindi singer Arijit Singh for his first Tamil song Neeye which went on to become a chartbuster.[2]

For their third movie Dora (2017), their song Enga Pora Dora garnered great response among audience and critics alike. Their background score for the movie was also widely appreciated.

Gulaebaghavali was their biggest superhit album with all the songs winning the hearts of the listeners. The song Guleba became a viral hit worldwide garnering more than 75 million views. Numerous dance and music covers were a result of this. All the songs in the movie have chartbusters on all platforms.

Most recently, they have released their first independent music video 'Orasaadha' which has become yet another sensation.

It is rumoured that the duo is in talks to score for a Sivakarthikeyan biggie next.
