Virginia's 40th Senate district

District 40 of the Virginia Senate is a senatorial district that encompasses Lee County, Scott County, Washington County, Bristol City and Grayson County, as well as parts of Smyth County, Wise County, and Wythe County in the U.S. state of Virginia.[1] The current Senator from District 40 is Charles W. Carrico, Sr.[2]
