Vincenzo Facino, also known as Vinjay, is a DJ, musician and record producer from Italy, officially active since 2002.

Biography

He was born in Crotone (Italy) on 1 May 1985; he followed in his father's footsteps and he took his first steps in his hometown; here early he approaches to djing and to music-production.
So after had spent some years in Italy where he started early to develop his own recording-studio and to make his debuts and appearances as Dj behind the consoles of some of the best Italian clubs, in 2011 he moved to Tenerife (Spain), stimulated by new ideas, new sounds and new collaborations and projects.
In 2014 he founded VinGas Records, his own record-label.
Self-taught musician, artistically he's a versatile and polyhedral dj; during these years spent in the electronic-dance music composition he was very able to achieve important goals; in fact his career began in his hometown and later he was very able to come into contact with worldwide labels and djs spreading, promoting and sharing his own music and his creations among a more influential and particular audience, early becoming more known and more appreciated in the electronic dance music scene.
His music is a good deal of energy and elegancy; a crossover with a very original combination of grooves and sounds from the Disco-Music, Electronica and Indie-Dance; so the final result is really international and original.
When he plays, he always focus his attention on the dancefloor and his performances are characterized by technical virtuosity, musical taste and sound innovation; his favourite live-setup is made up by 4 Cdjs Players, Synthesizers, Keyboards and Drum-Machines.
From 2002 till now, he performed in many countries such as Russia, Spain, United Kingdom, France, Lithuania, Israel, Canary Islands, etc., etc. as well as in his native Italy and also collaborated many electronic-music producers, singers radios and labels.

Crowd dancing

Among the most important clubs and events where he performed, should be mentioned his gigs in Ministry of Sound (United Kingdom), Rock in Rio Festival (Spain-Portugal-Brazil), Tenerife’s Carnival (Canary Islands), Gay Village (Italy) and in other appreciated European clubs like Vampis Club (Spain), Tramps (Spain), Pravda (Russia), Pop Star (Lithuania), Club Mediterraneè (France), Piper (Italy), The Club (Italy), etc., etc.

Dj Vinjay & Junior Jack

Between the late 2009 and early 2010 he participated in the tenth edition of the "Movida Corona Dj-Producer Competition", an important European dj competition promoted by Mtv & Corona Extra and so he won the Italian Award as Best National Dj and Brand Ambassador; some months later he also won a bronze medal in the European Grand Final in London.
Then he began a music tour performing in many European clubs and events, introduced as a rising and prodigious talented artist from Italy.
In the summer of 2010 he was invited to perform as Guest-Dj at Rock in Rio Festival, one of the biggest music festivals in the world; here he shared the stage with some international pop/dance-stars like Rihanna, Shakira, Jon Bon Jovi, David Guetta, Paul Van Dyk, Tiesto, Axwell.
In his career he has also shared the stage with other djs like Felix Da Housecat, Junior Jack, Claudio Coccoluto, Jamie Lewis, Mauro Picotto, Hoxton Whores, Sander Kleinenberg, Dj Vibe, Martinez Brothers, David Penn, Albertino, Dino Angioletti, Outwork, Mario Fargetta aka Get-Far, Joy Kitikonti, Jacob Husley, etc., etc.
As Music-Producer and Remixer, his most popular songs produced between 2012 and 2015 like “Passion feat. Modestyno”, “One More Time feat. Andrea Love”, “We Are Not Famous feat. Martha”, “Amelia feat. Dr. Feelx”, “Disco Fever feat. Carl” gained good feedbacks and real supports by some of the best international djs like Fedde Le Grand, Matt Darey, Paul Van Dyk, Dimitri Vegas, Outwork, Funkagenda, Federico Scavo, Steve Lawler, Mickey Gallagher, Phunk Investigation, Claude VonStroke, Todd Terry, Dj Sneak, etc., etc., by international radios like Bbc (United Kingdom), M2o (Italy), Radio Montecarlo (France), IbizaGlobalRadio (Spain), Kiss Fm (Australia), Exelon Radio (Tunisia), etc., etc. and have also been ranked in many official charts like the Beatport Top 100, the Juno Download Top 100, “the King Of Spins Top 20”, the Italian Dance Chart, the Swiss Dance Chart, the German Dance Chart, the British Dance Chart, the DeejayWorx Top 100, etc. As Producer and Remixer he has also worked and collaborated on music projects with some well-known singers, producers, musicians and djs like Andrea Love, Mario Più, Outwork, gigi de Martino, Loverdose, Lush, Alex Gray, Alaia & Gallo, Daniele Petronelli, Worp, Sergio Matina, Helen Brown, Dr.Feelx, Carl, Dj Castello, Chris Minus, Eddy Wata, Amrick Channa, Adam Clay, Kris Reen, etc.; his music have been released his own record labels like: Area 94 Records, Metempsicosi Music, Saifam, Net’s Work, Just Entertainment Records, Miniatures Records, Fahrenheit Music, Time Records, D:Vision, Malatoid Records, Emotive Sounds, etc., etc.

Charity work

Between 2009 and 2010 he also got involved in some charity work like "United Djs For Abruzzo", together with other djs like Umek, Mauro Picotto, Joy Kitikonti, Valentino Kanzyani, Mario Più.
This charity project was a tribute to Abruzzo earthquake victims and he donated his track "In The Night".
All the profit made from the online sales of the tracks was given to the Italian organizations Red Cross and Protezione Civile.
Later he got involved in "Leave A Track For Messina" , another charity project in tribute to Messina floods victims and he donated his track "Fly".
