Verin Artashat (Armenian: Վերին Արտաշատ; formerly known as Verkhniy Artashat, literally means Upper Artashat), is a village in the Ararat Province of Armenia. It sits adjacent to the ruins of the ancient city of Dvin.
In addition to Armenians, the town is also populated by a significant number of Yazidis, being home to the largest Yazidi community among the villages of Armenia.
