Urraca was a daughter of the king Sancho I of Pamplona and was thus a royal princess by birth. Her mother was Toda of Navarre.
She was a sister of king García Sánchez I of Pamplona and aunt of Sancho II of Pamplona.
Her husband was king Ramiro II of León and their children were king Sancho I of León and nun and regent Elvira Ramírez.
She was a grandmother of Ramiro III of León.
