Urbanus (usurper)

Urbanus was a Roman usurper.

History

Urbanus declared himself emperor in either 271 or 272 AD, during the reign of Aurelian.[1] He likely staged his revolt in Dalmatia.[2] He was quickly defeated.[3][4] He is possibly fictional.[5]
