University of Dyrrhachium

The University of Dyrrachium (Latin: Universitas Studiorum Dyrrhachium, Albanian: Universiteti Mesjetar i Durrёsit)[1][2] was a theological university (Studium generale) in Durrës (Dyrrhachium), Albania, then Medieval Kingdom of Albania.[3] The university was established around 1380, and then transferred to Zadar in 1396, amid the mounting Turkish threats in South-eastern Europe, thereby becoming the University of Zadar.[4]
