The European White Elm cultivar Ulmus laevis 'Aureovariegata' (also 'Aureo-variegata'[1]) was mentioned in 1903 as U. effusa (: laevis) f. aureovariegata, but without description.[1][2] An U. effusa (: laevis) variegata was grown at the Munich Botanic Garden in 1829.[3]
Description
Henry briefly described the tree as having "leaves spotted with yellow".[4]
Cultivation
No specimens are known to survive.
