Ugo-Iizuka Station (羽後飯塚駅, Ugo-Iizuka eki) is a railway station on the Ōu Main Line in Katagami, Akita, Japan, operated by East Japan Railway Company (JR East ).[1]

History

The station in August 2004, before rebuilding

Ugo-Iizuka Station opened on 17 November 1927.[2] With the privatization of Japanese National Railways (JNR) on 1 April 1987, the station came under the control of JR East.[2]

In fiscal 2010, the station was used by an average of 126 passengers daily (boarding passengers only).[3]
