Turbo, Eldoret

Turbo is a small town approximately 34 kilometers North West of Eldoret town Along the Nairobi-Malaba Road.

In 2009 it had a population of 35,000 people. Its major inhabitants are from the Kalenjin tribe of Kenya, although the Tachoni, Luyha, Kikuyu and Somali also pay homage to the town. Its main economic activity is agriculture.

Popular places:landmarks in Turbo include Mchanganyiko Bar and Restaurant,Maseke Agro vet Kobil petrol station, Turbo Water supply and National Youth Service center.

It is home to the Deputy President of Kenya, William Ruto.
