The names Hanna or Hannah have been used to name multiple tropical storms.

Pacific storms

The name was also used for five tropical cyclones in the Pacific Ocean:

  • Tropical Storm Hannah (1947) (Japan Meteorological Agency analyzed it as a tropical depression, not as a tropical storm.)
  • Tropical Storm Hannah (1997) (01W, Atring, Japan Meteorological Agency analyzed it as a tropical depression, not as a tropical storm.) – an early-season storm that approached the Philippines, but died out before affecting land.
  • Tropical Storm Lekima (2007) (T0714, 16W, Hanna) – a storm that made landfall in Northern Vietnam. This storm was called Hanna by PAGASA.
  • Tropical Storm Tokage (2011) (T1107, 09W, Hanna)
  • Typhoon Soudelor (2015) (T1513, 13W, Hanna) – impacted Taiwan and eastern China during August 2015.

Other uses

  • The Disney preteen sensation of the second half of the 2000s, Hannah Montana (Miley Cyrus) has often been dubbed Hurricane Hannah, most prominently in an October 18, 2007 article in Time magazine.
  • Hannah Cockroft, British Paralympian known by the nickname "Hurricane Hannah".
  • Bob Hannah, one of the most successful American motocross racers, uses the nickname "Hurricane Hannah".
