Trinity High School, Renfrew

Coordinates: 55°52′37″N 4°23′13″W / 55.877°N 4.387°W / 55.877; -4.387 Trinity High School is a Roman Catholic high school in Renfrew, Scotland. Its enrolment is approximately 905 students as of September 2012.

The school's building was originally the site of the state school Renfrew High, but in 1976 Renfrew High School moved to a new larger site, and the building became Trinity High School.

Over the years an ICT block and an extension have been built. The extension now houses the Religious Education department, Home Economics department and the Modern Languages department.

Senior Staff

The Head Teacher is Mrs Margaret-Anne Renfrew. There are three Deputy Head Teachers; Mrs Haddow, Mrs Walker (acting) and Mrs McElroy. Each member of Senior Management has year group responsibilities.

The school's pastoral system is organised into three houses (previously four - the house “St Thomas Aquinus” was removed due to there not being enough pupils to fill the house). They are St Joseph House, St Ambrose House, St Nicholas House. Each house has a house assembly held once a month. Each Pastoral Teacher is supported by two House Captains who are selected from the S6 members of the house group.

The school also has Head Boy and Girl as well as Deputy Head Boy and Girl. The pupils taking those rolls as of 2017-18 is Calum Fergus (Head Boy) and Lucy Osbourne (Head Girl). For the Deputies they have Paolo Farnocchí (Deputy Head Boy) and Amanjit Uppal (Deputy Head Girl). These rolls are chosen by their S6 peers and teachers.
