"Tragic Comic" is the third and last single from Extreme's third studio album III Sides to Every Story.

The song was done in an acoustic style, as Extreme tried to reprise the success of their acoustic hit "Hole Hearted". The song proved to be a commercial failure, just like the album and the first two singles, and the band had to cancel their plans to release another single from the album. It did chart in the UK at #15, but it would be their last single to crack the UK Top 40.

The artwork for the single is Charlie Chaplin-based.
