CMT Top 12 Countdown was a music video show that aired on Country Music Television (CMT) that debuted in 1994 and ended in December 2001 in favor for the longer Top 20 Countdown. Each episode would countdown the top 12 music videos of the week. At the end of each year, CMT would broadcast the Top 12 Countdown of the Year and present awards to artists for their music video achievements.
