Tipe-X

Tipe-X is a ska band formed in Jakarta, Indonesia in 1995. The group comprises vocalist Tresno Riadi, bassist Micky, guitarist Yoss, drummer Arie Hardjo, guitarist Billy, and trombone Anto.

Tipe-X are known for their hit singles, such as "Genit", "Angan", "Sakit Hati", "Lagi-Lagi Sendiri", "Kamu Nggak Sendirian" and "Mawar Hitam". The first album titled SKA Phobia, released in 1999. They were previously signed to AQUARIUS later to MICHELIN and their latest album SEVEN was signed by OFFBEAT MUSIC INDONESIA a label owned by a bass player @benjaminrenhat. During the reign of BOY BAND era in Indonesia TIPE-X released their single BOY BAND which stating that they are boys in a band instead of mocking boy band or girl band. Not only the single was hilarious but the album SEVEN also brought back TIPE-X to mainstream music industry in Indonesia thanks to their producer and label owner @benjaminrenhat.
