Thulasidas

Dr Thulasidas is an Indian film and serial director who works in South Indian film industry. Dr.Thulasidas started his film career as assistant director and associate director to P.K Joseph , Williams , Baby and Rajasenan His directional debut was the film Onninu Purakea Mattonnu (1989)

Bigraphy Born in Venjaramoodu Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala Thulasidas did his schooling at Venjaramoodu high school and Attingal sree narayana college. He is married to Shiny Thulasidas (Sep 13 1995) the couple have two children, Soorya T S Nair, Anushka T S Nair. Film Career In 1989 he made his debut as an independent director with Onninu Purakea Mattonnu (1989), which starred Thlakan, Ratheesh, Nedumudi venu and Rohini in lead roles, produced by Sundarlal Nahatha He contribution to malayalam film industry includes huge box office hits such as Kasargod Khader Bhai (1992)(Siddique, Sunitha, Jagadeesh, Suchithra), Ezhara Ponnana (1992), Malappuram Haji Mahanaya Joji (1994) (Mukesh, Siddique, Maathu), Kumkumacheppu (1996) (Manoj K Jayan, Sobhana), Kilukil Pambaram (1997) (Jayaram, Vani viswanath),Sooryaputhran (1998) (Jayaram, Divya Unni) , Dosth (2001) (Kunchacko boban,Dileep, Kavya), Mr. Brahmachari (2003) (Mohanlal, Meena), College Kumaran (2008) (Mohanlal, Vimala Raman), In 2016 Thulasidas teamed up with producer K Manikandan came up with worlds first ever movie without men , Girls(Malayalam) Thiraikku Varadha Kathai (English: Story never came on screen) in Tamil, is a bilingual horror thriller movie.Which earned him ICL award for best director in 2017, To add to the huge reputation and awards he received from film industry he was awarded with an in honorary Doctorate from Good News International University 2017
