Greta is a 2018 American drama thriller film directed by Neil Jordan and co-written by Jordan and Ray Wright. The film stars Isabelle Huppert, Chloë Grace Moretz, Maika Monroe, Colm Feore, and Stephen Rea.

It had its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival on September 6, 2018.

Production

In May 2017, it was announced that Isabelle Huppert and Chloë Grace Moretz had agreed to star in the film, then titled The Widow.[3] In August 2017, Maika Monroe joined the cast.[4] In September 2017, Stephen Rea, Colm Feore, and Zawe Ashton were added to the cast.[5]

It was filmed on location in Dublin and the surrounding area in October 2017.[6] It was also filmed on location in Toronto, ON, and New York, NY.

Release

The film had its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival on September 6, 2018.[7] Shortly after, Focus Features acquired distribution rights to the film.[8]
