Plot

An evil woman named Rubella Slime hates Valentine's Day and she and her brothers Bugsy and Weasel are out to destroy the holiday. She plans an evil plot to have Bugsy and Weasel sneak into Cupid Headquarters and pour lots of HATE into the cupid pool of love potion where the cupids dip their arrows into. Rubella, Bugsy and Weasel go out onto the street and test out her evil potion on Cosmo Cupid who is outside the city pound, encouraging people to adopt dogs who need homes. The HATE which causes him to turn hostile, arrogant and terribly evil. Meanwhile Sam Cupid was addressing the graduating class of Kissing U, one cupid informs Sam about a cupid being hostile, arrogant and terribly evil down at the city pound. Sam Cupid and his army of cupids decide to investigate and find Cosmo being evil. They trap Cosmo in a big net and rehabilitate him with "Chocolate Milk of Human Kindness". Late that night, Bugsy and Weasel break into Cupid Labs to pour the HATE into the pool of love. The next morning, the cupids go out and shoot their love arrows, little do they know that the arrows were contaminated with HATE. Rubella, Bugsy and Weasel watch from the window as everyone on the street start acting hostile, arrogant and terribly evil. Cosmo notices this and decides to go to a nearby telephone booth and call Sam to report the problem. Sam decides to look in his "Soldier of Affection" magazine and finds an ad for something that might resolve the evil problem. Next thing, Bugsy notices a heart-shaped hot air balloon in the sky, which turns out to be Sam and Cosmo in it and Sam is holding a "Love Laser", which shoots a concentrated beam of sunshine and warmth and makes people be nice. So Cosmo watches from the balloon for anyone being evil and points them out to Sam, who shoots the love laser gun at them, causing everyone shot by the love laser to be nice again. Bugsy knew something was suspicious about the balloon in the sky and points it out to Rubella and she sees that it's Sam and Cosmo making people nice with the love laser. Bugsy and Weasel run away and Rubella angrily demands them to come back. Eventually they're spotted by Cosmo and Sam shoots the love laser at them, and they turn nice and decide to go pick some flowers and buy some candy. Sam and Cosmo decided to go after Rubella and put an end to her evil plot. When Bugsy and Weasel return to their hideout, Rubella notices that they're being nice and questions them. When Bugsy and Weasel decide to go make some cookies for Valentine's Day, Rubella realizes they're been "contaminated". Suddenly, Sam and Cosmo burst in to stop Rubella. Cosmo shoots his arrow at Rubella and she suddenly turns nice. Busy and Weasel come back and Rubella decides to call her mother and wish her happy Valentine's Day. Rubella and Bugsy decide it was time to redecorate their headquarters. As Sam Cupid closes out the story, he and Rubella walk down the alley way.
