The Spire (Victoria Land)

The Spire is a prominent rock spire, over 2,600 metres (8,500 ft) tall, surmounting the western end of Rampart Ridge, in Victoria Land of Antarctica.

It was surveyed (78°9′S 161°37′E / 78.150°S 161.617°E / -78.150; 161.617) and descriptively named in 1957 by the New Zealand party of the Commonwealth Trans-Antarctic Expedition of 1956−1958.
