Ford Center at The Star
Ford Center at The Star is a 12,000-seat indoor stadium located in Frisco, Texas and is home to the Dallas Rattlers of Major League Lacrosse. It is also used for Whataburger's Friday Night Stars, an event every Friday showcasing Frisco Independent School District High School Varsity Football. The synthetic turf is Hellas Matrix Turf with Helix Technology. It can also be used as a regulation soccer field. However, its main use is as the Dallas Cowboys' practice facility.[1][2][3]
Dallas Rattlers
On November 16, 2017, Major League Lacrosse announced it would be relocating its Rochester team to Frisco and The Ford Center and the team would officially be renamed the Dallas Rattlers.[4] The Rattlers, the first professional team to play their games in the facility, are scheduled to play their first home game at The Ford Center on Sunday, April 29, 2018 against the Denver Outlaws.[5] The Rattlers won the game in overtime, 15-14 in front of 7,217 fans.[6]

- On February 15, 2017, Major League Lacrosse announced the venue would be hosting the 2017 Steinfeld Cup, the league championship game for the 2017 season.[7]
- On May 16, 2017, Conference USA announced that the 2018 and 2019 men and women's basketball tournament will be at held at The Star in partnership of the University of North Texas, the Dallas Cowboys, and the city of Frisco.[8]
- On November 18, 2017, Major League Lacrosse announced the relocation of the Rochester Rattlers to the Ford Center at the Star and have been renamed the Dallas Rattlers.
- On June 16, 2018, the venue hosted a welterweight world championship boxing match with Errol Spence Jr. successfully defending his IBF title against challenger Carlos Ocampo.[9]
