The Café is a New Zealand morning television lifestyle program that airs at 9:00 am weekdays on Three,[1] immediately after The AM Show. The program is hosted by Mike Puru and Mel Homer.[2][3][4][5] alongside Hamish Dodd presenting the "Home and Design" segment and Debbie Griffiths as The Cafe's "Travel" presenter.

The Café debuted on 11 April 2016,[6][7][8] and features special guest interviews, daily trends, and feature segments such as "Inspirational Stories", "Home Design" and "Health and Beauty".

The program is produced by Toe Rag Productions.

Broadcast

On 11 April 2016 the program aired its first episode on Three.

Concept

The programme combines feature guests, travel, cooking and human-interest stories. Each episode has a daily routine with a specific feature airing each day. Every episode starts with an introduction of who is to appear on the episode along with a daily video that looks back on something that happened the same day.
