Tay Head

Tay Head (63°21′S 55°34′W / 63.350°S 55.567°W / -63.350; -55.567Coordinates: 63°21′S 55°34′W / 63.350°S 55.567°W / -63.350; -55.567) is a rocky headland 6 nautical miles (11 km) east of Mount Alexander, extending into the Firth of Tay on the south coast of Joinville Island. The name, given by the United Kingdom Antarctic Place-Names Committee (UK-APC) in 1963, is derived from the Firth of Tay.
