Tariqe Kumahl Malachi Akwesi Fosu-Henry (born 5 November 1995) is an English professional footballer who plays for Charlton Athletic, as a midfielder.

Career

Reading

Fosu made his debut for Reading coming on as a 30th-minute substitute for Jack Stacey in their 3–0 Championship victory over Derby County on 2 May 2015.[3] Fosu signed a new two-year contract with Reading on 26 June 2015.[4]

Fleetwood Town loan

On 11 November 2015, Fosu moved to League One side Fleetwood Town on loan until 2 January 2016.[5] He made his debut on 14 November 2015 when he came on as a 66th minute substitution for Tyler Hornby-Forbes in their 2–1 loss at Peterborough United. He scored his first senior goal on 21 November 2015 in their 5–1 win over Swindon Town.

Accrington Stanley loan

On 24 March 2016, Fosu joined Accrington Stanley on loan for the remainder of the 2015–16 season.[6] Fosu was named League Two's player of the month for April.[7]

Colchester United loan

On 31 August 2016, Fosu joined Colchester United on loan until 7 January 2017.[8] He scored his first goal for Colchester in a 1–1 draw with Barnet on 17 September 2016.[9] His loan deal was extended until the end of the season on 12 January 2017.[10] He was named in the EFL 'Team of the Week' after playing a part in two of Colchester's goals during a 4–0 home win against Stevenage on 8 April in a Man of the Match performance.[11] He ended his loan spell with six goals in 34 appearances for Colchester.[12]

Charlton Athletic

On 19 June 2017, Fosu joined Charlton Athletic on a two-year deal for an undisclosed fee.[13] His first goal for the club came in a 4–3 win over Oldham Athletic on 2 September 2017.[14] He recorded a perfect hat-trick (scoring with his right foot, left foot and head) against Fleetwood Town on 30 September 2017.[15]
