Taghi Riahi (Persian: تقی ریاحی) was an Iranian senior military officer in the Iranian Imperial Army. He served as Chief of Staff of the Army, appointed by Prime Minister Mohammad Mossadegh[1] and served in the capacity from 1 March to 19 August 1953 coup d'état.[2] After the revolution, he took office as the Minister of National Defence in the interim government of Mehdi Bazargan.[3]
