Talkin' Shit with Eddie Ifft is a comedy podcast hosted by Eddie Ifft, who The Onion called "one of the most underrated stand-up comedians around."[1] The podcast is released every Tuesday and Thursday and episodes are usually between one and two hours long. There have been over 400 episodes of Talkin' Shit and the long list of notable guests includes Doug Benson, Hannibal Buress, Ty Pennington, Jay Mohr, Nick Swardson, Bob Saget, Joe Rogan, Russell Peters, Steve-O, and many more.[2]

History

Talkin' Shit was started by Eddie Ifft with fellow comedian and former roommate Jim Jefferies out of their Venice townhouse. When Jim left the podcast in 2012,[3] Eddie continued it with his on again off again sidekick Jason Auer.

Reception

Laughspin.com called Talkin' Shit the "comedy podcast you should be listening to."[4] Comedian Bobby Lee described the show as "darker than Oprah's nipple."[5] The podcast is known for being the first one to be kicked off of iTunes.

Bingle Bus

In August 2014, Eddie Ifft did a Kickstarter to raise money for the Bingle Bus, an old short bus converted into a mobile podcast studio, to take the show to the next level.[6] He hosted a 24-hour podcast marathon and raised over $60,000.
