Syed Sultan (Bengali: সৈয়দ সুলতান; 1550 – 1648) was a well-known Bengali writer and poet during the 16th and 17th centuries. His birthplace is not known. He was a resident of Patiya village under Chakrashala Chakla in Chittagong. He lived in Laskarpur (Paragalpur), Chittagong for several years.
Bibliography
Sultan’s best known work is Nabibangsha. His literary works were included in the curriculum of school level, secondary, and higher secondary Bengali Literature in Bangladesh.
