Stavroula Samara is the captain of Greek group (ensemble) in Rhythmic Gymnastics. She represents her nation at international competitions.

and 2016 Olympian athlete. She competed at 5 World Championships including : 2010(Moscow), 2011(Mont Pelier),

2013(Kiev), 2014(Izmir), 2015(Stuttgart). The World Championship at 2011 in Mont Pellier the team of Greece was qualified for the Test Event(Qualification for Olympic Games London 2012). After four years at the 2015 World Championship in Stuttgart the team of Greece qualified again for the Test Event (Qualification for Olympic Games Rio de Janeiro 2016).

At 2012 London Test- Event Pre- Olympic Series the team of Greece won the bronze medal and the Qualification for the Summer Olympic Games in London 2012. Four years later, the team competed again at 2016 Rio de Janeiro Test Event Pre- Olympic Series and won the bronze medal. That was the most important competition for the qualification in the Summer Olympic Games in Rio de- Janeiro 2016.

She participated in 4 European Championships including : 2009(Baku), 2010(Bremen), 2014(Baku), 2016 (Holon). In 2009 she competed with the junior group. The European Championship at 2014 in Baku was the qualification for the 1st European Games 2015 in Baku of Azerbaijan.

She participated in the 1st European Games in Baku of Azerbaijan where competed the top rhythmic gymnastics groups from the Europe.

She participated in many World Cups and International Meetings. With the junior team she competed at 2009 in the World Cup of Budapest and in the International Meeting of Kalamata. With the senior group she has the following competitions : 2010 (Portimao, Portugal), Kalamata (Greece), Pesaro (Italia), 2011 Kalamata (Greece), Portimao (Portugal), Sofia (Bulgaria), Tel-Aviv (Israel), 2012 Pesaro(Italia), 2013 Sant Persbourg(Russia), 2014 Pesaro (Italia), Kalamata(Greece), Kazan (Russia), 2015 Holon (Israel),Kalamata (Greece),Athens (Greece), Kazan (Russia), 2016 Athens(Greece), Pesaro(Itala).

In 2010, at the World Cup of Pesaro the team of Greece finishing 6th in the finals(routine with 5 hoops) .

In 2012 at the same World Cup the team finishing 6th again in the finals( routine with 5 balls)

In 2014 at the World Cup of Pesaro the team finishing 7th in the finals( routine with 3 balls and 2 ribbons)

In 2016 at the European Championship of Holon the team of Greece finishing 8th in all around competition.
