Starring Julia

"Starring Julia" or in Arabic "Min Boutoulet Julia" is a short film (duration of 14 minutes) written and directed by Elie Fahed.

The short film tells the story of Julia, a 70 years old woman, who one day decides to pursue her lifetime dream of being an actress.

"I made this film because I believe in dreams"

The short film premiered at Beirut International Film Festival in 2012 where it got the Orbit Special Jury Prize, and traveled the world after it, taking part in Baghdad International Film Festival, Menar Film Festival in Bulgaria, Mizna's 8th Twin Cities Arab Film Festival, FICMEC 5th edition, NDU Student Film Festival, Outbox Film Festival, and won the "Best Student Short Film" award at the Monaco Charity Film Festival in 2013.

"Starring Julia" took part of the "Seven Shorts You Shouldn't Miss at the Outbox Film Festival"
