Acridoxena is a monotypic genus of bush crickets; it is now placed in the tribe Acridoxenini of the subfamily Mecopodinae (previously it was a subfamily: Acridoxeninae).[1] It has one species, Acridoxena hewaniana, found in western-central Africa.[2]
