St James College is a Catholic boys' school for years 7–10, located in East Bentleigh, a suburb of Melbourne, Australia. It is administered by the De La Salle Brothers, a teaching order of Christian Brothers. The school has around 470 students. The school's current principal is Stephen Pooley.
History
St James College was opened in the 1970s. The school has gained prominence as some of its students having gone on to play in Australian sports, such as Corey Lyons and Ljubo Milicevic.[1] [2]

Controversies
Former Principal of St James College Brother Philip Sheridan was charged with sexual offences in 2015. [3] The charges do not relate to Br Philip Sheridan’s tenure as Principal at the College.
