Saint Antony's Public School, affiliated to Central Board of Secondary Education is located at Anakkal, Kanjirappally a town in Kottayam district of Kerala, India.[1] Known as one of the best schools in Kerala,[2] SAPS was instrumental in sculpturing students to obtain top ranks in many competitive examinations with the help of Brilliant Coaching Facilities.[3]
History
The school was started by Rev.Dr.Antony Nirappel in 1985 with twenty students and two teaching staff. The school became popular during 2002-2008, in the period of Rev.Fr.Antony Thockanattu as the principal. At present there are 150 teachers and 4,293 students representing most of the states of India and abroad.The school has coaching affiliated with brilliant pala
Academic achievements
- Between 2004 and 2015, there were more than 120 Indian Institutes of Technology selections from the school.
- In 2002, Robin Cherian secured 3rd rank in KEAM and he was the Topper in the Chennai Region in All India Senior School Certificate Examination 2002
- In 2002, Joseph P Mathew secured 7th Rank KEAM and he was the 2nd Rank holder from Chennai Region in All India Senior School Certificate Examination 2002[4]
- In 2003, Rejo Mathew Kurian topped Chennai region with 96.8% in All India Senior School Certificate Examination.[5]
- In 2005, Ravi Shankar D secured 3rd Rank in KEAM.
- In 2013 , Linta Thomas Secured 7th rank in Neet Medical entrance.
- In 2015, Jerin James of Class X won Gold Medal in 15th Maths Talent Scholarship Examination.[6]

- In 2015, Adone Jimmy of Class X got selected for National Rifle Shooting Championship held at New Delhi.
- In 2014, Sania Sunny of Class IX got individual championship in State Athletic meet for CBSE Schools and has qualified for National Athletic meet held at Gujarat.
- In 2012, Rohitha K from class XII, and in 2013 Sruthy Mohan and in 2014 Jobin Babu of class XI witnessed the Republic Day Parade from the Prime Minister's Box.
