St. Luke's School (Manhattan)

St. Luke's School resides on a serene block in the West Village. A statue of Mother Mary serves as a central point of the school's courtyard.

St. Luke's is a coeducational elementary and middle school which is divided into a Lower School (Grades JK-4) and an Upper School (Grades 5-8). It is located on the block of The Church of St. Luke in the Fields in the West Village at 487 Hudson Street, Manhattan.

The school is several years into an expansion, during which the school has grown from a one-class-per-grade model to two classes per grade. Total enrollment for 2018-19 is 316, which includes one class of Junior Kindergarten, two classes of Kindergarten through Grade 6, and one class of Grade 7 through 8. Class sizes range from 18 to 23. The student-teacher ratio is 6:1.

Bart Baldwin has served as Head of School since 2007. The current Upper School Head is Lauren Mazzari, and the current Lower School Head is Mary Ann Hoffman.
