The St. Louis Sheriff's Department (SLSD) is the principal law enforcement agency for the Circuit Court in City of St. Louis in the U.S. state of Missouri. In addition to providing security services for the courtrooms, they are responsible for issuing gun carry permits and serving court documents.[1] Patrol duties are handled by the Metropolitan Police Department, City of St. Louis.
