St. John's Episcopal School

St. John's Episcopal School was a comprehensive Episcopal day school in Oklahoma City, USA. It was founded as an outreach mission of St. John's Episcopal Church in 1951.

On July 12, 2017 the school announced its immediate closure due to budgetary issues.

Accreditation

St. John's School is fully accredited by both the State of Oklahoma and by the Southwestern Association of Episcopal Schools. Its faculty have won awards and recognition for excellence in teaching.

School

St. John's diverse population comes from many upper-class, white regions of the city and the surrounding suburbs, and serves approximately 200 students in Preschool 3 through Grade 8. The school is governed by an elected Board of Trustees responsible for operational, financial, and policy implementation. The school is financed almost entirely through tuition, contributions, grants, and fund-raising activities.
