The Liquor Party (Swedish: Spritpartiet) is a former political party in Sweden, that concentrated on healthcare issues in the area of too much drinking and the bad effects of alcohol. It was founded in 2009 by actor Benny Haag[1] and regarded itself as cross-political single-issue party. The party ran in the Swedish general election, 2010 on September 19 and gained 237 votes becoming the thirteenth biggest party outside the parliament.[2]
