The Singaporean Ambassador in Washington, D. C. is the official representative of the government of Singapore to the government of the United States.

He served concurrently as the Ambassador to the United States, to the United Nations, and to Brazil. He was a historian with first class Honours and an MA from the University of Malaya, and a PhD from London University. He was later appointed minister for home affairs.[1]
