Simmarasi is a 1998 Tamil language film directed and written by Erode Soundar. The film features Sarathkumar and Kushboo in lead roles whilst Anandaraj, Kanaka and Manivannan play supporting roles.[1][2] The film was one among 1998 Deepavali releases.

Kanaka replaced Gouthami in the film during July 1998.[3]

The soundtrack was composed by S. A. Rajkumar and the lyrics for all the songs were written by Mu. Metha, Vaasan, Kalaikumar, Erode Soundar and S. A. Rajkumar[4]
