Signs is a 2008 short romantic-comedy film created for Schweppes and directed by Patrick Hughes.

Plot

Office worker named Jason who is living his daily-life working in the office everyday with a boring life. Suddenly, Jason saw a pretty girl named Stacey in her office next door. Jason is caught by her and they start communicate through Signs.

Their communication began to make Jason happy and the two, communicating almost every day. The next day, Jason began to hesitate to ask Stacey on a date, but Jason did not see Stacey anymore in her office. Disappointed, Jason returned to his boring life with a sense of regret for not asking Stacey on a date.

The next day, Jason dazzled through the glass by Stacey, who had just been promoted. Excited, Jason started asking Stacey on a date. She started to smile, and thought he would have never asked. Both met for the first time across the street and Stacey signs "Hi" to Jason.

Controversy

YouTube fans of the film commented on the similarities to it seen in the Disney film Paperman but any similarity was dismissed by Hughes.[1]
