Shepperlands Farm Nature Reserve

Shepperlands Farm Nature Reserve is a nature reserve on the edge of the village of Finchampstead in Berkshire, England.[1] The nature reserve is under the management of the Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire Wildlife Trust.[2]

Geography and site

The site covers 9.5 hectares (23 acres).[1] Shepperlands Farm Nature Reserve has a wildflower meadow, an area of woodland and a patch of heathland.[2]

History

The land was given to the Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire Wildlife Trust as a gift in a will from the previous owners Len and Marie Goodwin.[3]

Shepperlands Farm Nature Reserve was given its nature reserve status in 2011 by the Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire Wildlife Trust.[4]
