Maryam Alqatan (Arabic: مريم القطان; born June 28, 1969), better known as Shemayel (Arabic: شمايل), is a Kuwaiti former singer.
Discovered by Kuwaiti composer Adel Al-Musaileem, Shemayel released her first album in 1998 and has since released three more albums to her name. She has also shot several music videos.
