Seervi (सीरवी) or Sirvi is the name of a caste that belongs to Kshatriya, Brahmans and Jaat of Hindu Religion..Basically Seervi caste same as Rajput and Jaat in western parts of Rajasthan in District Jodhpur & Pali. Currently almost One third population of Seervi is settled in South India, Maharashtra & Gujarat. Seervi are from Agricultural community but since last two decade due to shortage of irrigation water in Rajasthan, Seervi became Business Minded. Seervi are follower of Goddess Shri Aai Mata Ji.
History
The History of Seervi Caste is also written in the book "Census of Marwar 1891" written by Shri Munshi Hardayal Singh and subsequently history are also available in various books written Shri Shiv Singh ji Choyal and Shri Narayan Ram ji Lercha Bader, Bilara.
