Sean O'Hagan (born 1990) is an Irish professional strongman competitor and the 2015 Ireland's Strongest Man. O'Hagan's first major success was becoming Ulster's Strongman Man in 2014, aged 24, many years off his prime and the competition's youngest winner to date.

Ireland’s Strongest Man winner twice, he now competes in international competitions.


He is noted for his large physical size. At 213 cm (7 feet) in height, he is the tallest currently active professional strongman competitor and indeed, amongst the tallest in history. His weight of 200 kg (over 400 lb, or over 30 st) also makes him one of the heaviest strongmen around.

In 2016, the giant Irishman began competing in international strongman competition, finishing 31st in the Strongman world rankings.

In 2017, he qualified for the Strongman Champions League World Finals in Mexico. After 18 gruelling competitions all over the globe, with his best finish being 4th, he finished 9th in world final overall and jumped to 20th strongest man in the world rankings with 71points internationally.

The Giants 2017 competitions made UK tv on Channel 5 spike, following on from the televised ‘UKs Strongest Man’ which he competed in both 2015 and 2016 along side other noted strength athletes such as Eddie Hall.

In 2018 this baby faced bohemath turns 28, with plans to make Worlds Strongest Man, this baby is one to watch
