The Javan sunbird or scarlet sunbird (Aethopyga mystacalis) is a species of bird in the family Nectariniidae. It is endemic in Javan and Bali, Indonesia. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forest and subtropical or tropical moist montane forest.
