The Sash of the Two Orders was a decoration consisting of a sash and breast star that combined the Orders of Christ and Aviz. The sash was a stripe of red for the Order of Christ and a stripe of green for the Order of Aviz. The Breast Star consisted of the star of the Order of Christ and the crosses of the two orders that made up the sash would lie in the middle of the breast star. The order was eventually retired as the Sash of the Three Orders gained prominence.
