Santa Rosa Secondary School

Santa Rosa Secondary School is a five-year secondary school in Santa Rosa, in the Barima-Waini region of northern Guyana. Established in 1992, it is the second secondary school in the region. (The first was North West Secondary School in Mabaruma, in 1965.)

Entrance is by competitive examination, and students may take the Caribbean Examinations Council (CXC) upon graduation.

As of 2005 the school had 264 students, of whom 72 were housed in a dormitory that was sponsored by the Inter-American Development Bank. The 2009 enrollment was 650.

A third wing was built in 2009 that added nine classrooms.
