Salaam University (SU) (Somali: Jaamacadda Salaam, Arabic: جامعــة ســـلام) is a private university in Mogadishu, Somalia.

History

Salaam University was founded in September 2008 – 2009 as a medical school to help train local doctors and health workers. The founders of the university had the desire to become the leading academic institution in Somalia so as to build a "Perfect Future" for its graduates and the nation.
