Saife Hassan (born October 4, 1969) is a Pakistani TV director and actor. He is best known for the drama serial Dil ki Madham Boliyan (2005) for which he won the TV One Global Award for Best Director. He then directed the drama serial Bari Aapa for which he was nominated for the Hum Award for Best Director Drama Serial at 1st Hum Awards ceremony[1] and Ru Baru.[2] He later won the Best Director award for his directed drama serial Sange Mar Mar in 17th Lux Style Awards (2018).

Career

Hassan was born on October 4, 1969 in Karachi to a Muslim Family. He began his filmmaking career in 1996 after completing a training course from the Pakistan Television Academy in Islamabad organized by UNDP. Prior to that Hassan was a member of the theater troupe Tehrik-e-Niswan. Hassan has worked as a director for more than ten years at Hum TV, and since 2003 has directed television ventures for television channels.[3]
