Running Aces Casino and Racetrack is a 5/8 mile harness horse racing track that is located in Columbus, Minnesota. The facility had its first race on April 11, 2008. The Facility also has a Casino with Poker, Blackjack, Pai Gow, and other card games.The Facility features Simulcast Racing Year-Round in the RaceBook, and offers full service dining Year Round in the Famous " Trout Air Tavern ". The Live Racing season typically runs from June through September. There are approximately 53 live race days, with Live Racing on Tuesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays. In August 2015, Running Aces debuted the all new " Trout Air Experience " , which offers guests the chance to fish for live Trout in the all new Trout pond, and have their catch cleaned, cooked and served to them in the Trout Air Tavern Restaurant at Running Aces. The facility also offers casual dining at the " All-In Grill " , and also offers a fantastic Bar with live music on scheduled nights. Running Aces always offers free Admission and free Parking, and during the Live Racing Season features "$1 Night" on Tuesdays, with hot dogs, chips and pop for just $1, along with $1 bets and $1 programs, $2 Miller Lite and $1 trout pond pole rentals. Saturday Nights are "keep it local Night" with promotions and products from local vendors. There is also live music in the Trout Air Tavern after the races., and Sunday nights are "Family Night" , with face painting and other kid's activities, and every night offers drawings and promotional games for cash and prizes.
