Ruellia vindex (syn. Dipteracanthus vindex, Nees, Ruellia geminiflora var. angustifolia) is a plant native of Cerrado vegetation of Brazil, Guyana and Venezuela. This plant is cited in Flora Brasiliensis by Carl Friedrich Philipp von Martius.
