Rodrigo Alberto Carazo Zeledón

Rodrigo Alberto Carazo Zeledón (born 1948) is a Costa Rican politician, economist and lawyer.

He was the first National Ombudsman of the Republic of Costa Rica (1993 - 1997), as well as Vice President and President of the American Council of Ombudsmen on Human Rights, and Vice President and President of the Federación Iberoamericana de Defensores del Pueblo. Between 1984 and 1987 was representative of the University for Peace to European offices of United Nations, and from 1979 to 1981 Special Ambassador to the UN General Assembly.
